The Torronfetta with Pistachios Barbero is a very thin and single slice of crumbly nougat that can be enjoyed in any moment of relaxation, perhaps accompanied by a good Moscato wine. The Davide Barbero Torronfette, today one of the company's flagship products, were created at the end of the 1950s and initially represented the remainder of the processing obtained from cutting the nougat sticks. The demand for these thin and innovative slices was so high that they became one of the company's best-selling products. Torronfetta Like all of Davide Barbero's nougat, it is still made with the ancient recipe of Asti nougat with long cooking in steam boilers and the use of high quality raw materials, such as pistachios, wildflower honey, l fresh egg white instead of edible gelatine.

A very thin and tasty nougat bar, handcrafted with top quality ingredients according to the ancient recipe of Asti and slow steam cooked for about 7 hours.

Born in the late 1950s, at first Barbero’s Torronfetta was simply what was left-over when the nougat was cut. However, when the Barbero family began snacking on it they realized that they had something really special. Made to the same, traditional recipe as all of their other nougat, it is cut in three slices, making it ideal for sharing – although we won’t blame you if you decide to keep it to yourself.
